COME FIND REST WITH US THIS CHRISTMAS
Christmas Eve – December 24, 2019
Service – 5:00 PM
41354 Roberts Ave.
Fremont, CA 94538
If it’s your first time at Redeemer Fremont we are grateful you could join us. We “do church” a little differently, so here are a few frequently asked questions to help you plan your trip.
What do you do for kids?
We want to celebrate together as families so no childcare will be provided for this special service.
More than that, we have set aside a special time for kids to participate in the program with a short, age-targeted, reading of the Christmas story. Children are invited, but not required to participate, and parents of younger children may come up with them for encouragement.
How long is the service?
We have intentionally designed this to be a special service, about 45 minutes long, with the goal of finding joy and rest in the good news of Christ’s birth. This will not be a typical Sunday service which normally lasts about an hour and a half, rather, this abbreviated service will consist of singing Christmas carols and hymns, sharing reflections and prayers, and concluding with sharing in the Lord’s Supper together.
As with all our services, this will be “liturgy-lite” in that we will follow traditional and ancient forms in our program with warmth and spontaneity.
What should I wear?
You are welcome to wear whatever makes you comfortable. If you’re excited about a special Christmas outfit, that’s great! In that case, expect to be complimented for your smart fashion sense.
Can I attend if I’m _____________?
Fill in the blank with whatever fear you have about not being accepted: divorced, single parent, broke, an addict, a skeptic, etc. Redeemer is a place to be human, and we invite you to be human with us. Whatever your background, we’d love to welcome you!
Still Have Questions?
We’d love to answer them!
